Blackberry DTEK70 Price In Kenya!
Earlier this year, there were reports that Blackberry devices which were codenamed “Neon,” “Argon,” and “Mercury” are in the works.
And we can now confirm that the DTEK70 will be released anytime from now.
The Blackberry DTEK70 is expected to be the last smartphone that BlackBerry releases by itself.
The BlackBerry DTEK70 aka Mercury smartphone would be launched in January and will sport a fingerprint sensor on the space bar.
The highpoint of the DTEK70 is the physical QWERTY keyboard that will work alongside the android powered smartphone.
It will feature 3GB of RAM, 32GB of inbuilt storage, an 18-megapixel rear camera, and an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies.
The specs are unlike the DTEK 60 which sports BlackBerry’s largest screen to date at 5.5-inch and is powered by a Snapdragon 820 chipset. The DTEK 60 was also released with 4GB of RAM and 32GB storage.

What is special about the BlackBerry DTEK70?
Renders of the DTEK 70 reveal a physical QWERTY keyboard, and a new location of the front camera – it’s on the right of the earpiece now. Plus, proximity and ambient light sensors are different as well.
Unlike the DTEK50 and DTEK60, the DTEK70 appears to sport a physical QWERTY keyboard and appears to be of the candybar design.
It kind of reminds us of an elongated BlackBerry Passport in terms of looks.
BlackBerry DTEK70 will feature a 4.5-inch curved screen.
The speakers will be most probably located at the top center, while the sensors will be on the left.
The device’s front camera will be located on the top right corner. If reports running rampant online proved to be true, BlackBerry DTEK70 will come with an 8MP front snapper for the selfie addicts and a mammoth 18MP primary camera.
The last time the handset was spotted on Geekbench some of its specs was revealed and it apparently featured a Snapdragon 625 chipset with 3GB of RAM which makes it a mid-ranger, but the upside is that it came with the latest Android 7.0 Nougat preinstalled supported by BB DTEK security software; an improved mobile security that protects users against malware.
The fingerprint sensor is integrated into the space bar, enabling the user to authenticate for anything that needs password without change hand position.
It will pack a robust 3.400mAh battery, which is an apt choice for a 4.5-inches handset and will provide users with two days of run time.
