Sympli is a pioneer in the production of frozen African ingredients with a difference, in that all Sympli products are sourced, produced and packed in Nigeria to guarantee ‘authenticity’.
The offering includes local favourites like Yam Fries and Ripe Plantain (Dodo), innovative Yam Cubes and Plantain Chips; with plans to add spicy Atarodo, Sombo and Tatase chillies, as well as other traditional African ingredients.
Sympli products are packed in affordable and easy to store 500g pouches, they have a shelf life of over 12 months ensuring out of season supply and each piece is Individually Quick Frozen (IQF) making them ideal for portion control.
Production of Sympli is in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
The Sympli processing facility is HACCP certified by SGS International, approved by The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) and The Standards Organization of Nigeria (SON).
Raw materials are harvested and processed at their peak ripeness, a time when they are packed with the most nutrients, then flash frozen to lock in vitamins and prevent spoilage. In producing Sympli only Anti‐Oxidant Ascorbic Acid (E300), which is recognized as safe by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), is added to promote colour retention; there are no added salts, sugars, fats or other preservatives.
